We have just replaced our Hitachi ZX50 with a new Kubota KX060-5. The Hitachi has served us well over the years but was nearly 20 years old and had some 5000 hours of digging done. This new machine has all the functions that I need for a new project later in the year.
We have already trimmed a very overgrown hedge on a local road with the tree shears fitted. Branches were overhanging the road badly and as the farmer is liable for any damage their trees cause we had to trim. Now hedge trimming is over until September.
